Project Achievement
As the organization expanded its activities in different geographical locations, new projects and initiatives have been piloted, tested and implemented over the time. This wide range of activities cover various aspects of women´s empowerment issues – including decision making, control over resources, life skill and livelihood skill, negotiation skill, mobility, networking and support etc. BOMSA implemented a number of projects with technical and financial support from various donors and United Nations (UN) specialized agencies and intergovernmental agencies. International Organization for Migration (IOM) Dhaka, Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Manusher Jonno, DanChurch Aid (DCA), United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), International Labour Organization and ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB), are some of the major agencies that contributed with their professional guidance, financial and technical support for this organization.
